That’s right, the Phallological Museum, which used to only have boring things like a 67-inch sperm whale penis preserved in formaldehyde, lampshades made from bull testicles, and an “unusually big” penis bone from a Canadian walrus, finally has a piece of art we can all relate to — deceased 95-year-old Pall Arason’s “pickled penis.” It’s about time! A few people have pledged their “members” over the years, but Arason is the first successful donation. Apparently, a doctor was present at the local morgue when the “ceremony” took place, so don’t worry — you’ll be seeing a well-taken care of penis. Sigurdur Hjartarson, who runs the museum and is totally not weird, was overjoyed after the donation.
