Who doesn’t enjoy April Fools’ Day? The day when everyone wants to prank their loved ones with (hopefully) harmless jokes. But that’s pressure for a mom like me. I have not planned ahead. I have not spent weeks prepping, setting up, scheming for the perfect prank for my husband or kiddos or co-workers. But, fear not, fellow slacker moms! You too can participate in April Fools’ Day! I’ve rounded up a few last-minute pranks, ones that will literally take you 5 minutes to do....

You don’t necessarily have to live by the beach or go to a spa to enjoy such a thing. A woman in Ireland who was 8 weeks pregnant received a routine scan at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and was told there was no heartbeat. Dr. Dawn Michael, clinical sexologist and author of Intimacy Guidebook for Couples says this is a fairly common problem couples in long-term relationships deal with. The skin around the fingers is extremely thin, AND it’s placed directly above bone. That makes nailing the exact placement of ink incredibly hard for tattoo artists. While visiting family in Florida this week, I happened upon a guy outside the supermarket selling fresh fish from a truck. I asked him the best way to cook shrimp, figuring that, of all people, he would know the best way. And I was right: He gave me this ridiculously simply recipe for boiled shrimp, and it was fantastic!. Easy Boiled Shrimp 1 lb raw shrimp, fresh or frozen 1/2 onion Seasoning (he recommended using half a beer for “seasoning” but I didn’t have that so I used 2 tablespoons Old Bay, 1 teaspoon cayenne, and 2 teaspoons garlic salt) Bring large pot of water to boil....
