Lice sucks. This is something I know you know because, hey, guess what? It turns out your kid had it TWO weeks prior to the fourth-grade outbreak that struck every girl in the class (including my kid). I found this out thanks to another parent (whose daughter ALSO had lice). Not from you. Look, we all know lice is gross. Lice is embarrassing. It took us $750 out of pocket and a lot of stress and tears to make sure that everyone else in our family was lice-free and to rid my daughter of every single nit and bug....

Since the brand Pretty Little Thing (PLT) is vey popular on Instagram, with many celebrities and influencers promoting it, it’s no surprise that people noticed the new product and immediately jumped for their wallets.

Apparently, it’s because coffee is richer in antioxidants than even dark-colored grape juice. Antioxidants help control cell damage; and less cell damage means less disease. The caffeine looks to have little or no benefit other than helping us get the sleep out of our eyes....

In a nationwide survey of 4,000 dads, 9 out of 10 fathers of kids 5 or younger said they change diapers and bathe their kids several times a week. They also said they play with their kids and eat with them all the time. And 2 out of 3 read to their kids several times a week. Too bad, because it works so well for grown-ups. So what’s a mom to do when diapers are exploding all over the place and she just can’t “wait it out”? Feed them magic poop-hardening foods, of course. The vet told my mom to do this for her dogs when they had diarrhea, and she suggested trying it for my daughter and it really helps....

My almost-4-year-old loves to find rhyming words, we play “rhyme that word” all of the time … and I can’t seem to stop doing it even here at the office, much to the annoyance of my cubicle mate. Of course, I had to tone down the gunk once I wanted to attract actual ladies. Then came babies and diapers. It’s amazing how fast you change your mind about hand-washing when you’ve got another human’s poop under your fingernails. At mommy-and-me class (they let in dads with fake ID), they taught us to sing Happy Birthday twice while hand-washing to know when you’re done. Which bored me to tears....
