We talked with divorce attorney Randall Kessler of Kessler and Solomiani in Atlanta about the most important things moms need to know about divorce, especially when it’s an acrimonious split. That’s especially troubling when you consider that nearly one in six high school students has seriously considered suicide — with one in 12 attempting it — according to data from the CDC. At a certain point, pregnant sex becomes extremely difficult. Even when you really want to get down with your partner, figuring out the logistics of positions and physical comfort can completely squash the sexiness out of penetrative sex. It’s not just the chickens they claim to be worried about either, or that pregnant women will eat an ungodly amount of them. They say they are worried about the penises of the unborn baby boys the women are carrying too. Apparently there was a study done a few years back that said women who eat chicken and chicken products MAY be linked to their sons having smaller penises. It all had to do with phthalates, which was found in higher levels in chicken than in some other food products....

After all, we’re constantly being warned to monitor our kids’ connection to the digital world and limit screen time. But don’t throw out that plastic phone yet. Overall, experts say that toy cellphones are no reason to worry. “Part of healthy identity formation for children is to play out adult activities, such as shopping, dressing up, or cleaning,” says Mark Loewen, a parent consultant in Richmond, Virginia....

Flash forward several months, and there I am at the physical therapist’s office, discussing my twin baby’s flat head and the other baby’s stiff neck. And as she’s explaining to me that they need more tummy time and shouldn’t be spending so much time in their car seats, all I can think about is how I’ve already failed as a Mommy. Start off with a low suction, and gradually make it stronger. — Don’t pump too fast thinking it will help … it only hurts yourself. — Breast massage and nipple stretching before pumping, continued massage while pumping....
It refers to the opening of the cervix, the part of the body that separates the uterus from the vagina, and according to Dr. Robert Atlas, an OB/GYN at Mercy Medical Center in Maryland, dilating is part of the body’s way of getting ready for delivery. “As you get closer to term, the body knows to start contracting and opening of the cervix begins,” he explains. Moms have the option of whether or not they allow their practitioner to check whether or not you’re dilating — a process done by putting the hand up the vagina and feeling the cervix to determine whether it has begun to open....
