Speaking with CafeMom, Stephanie says that the family outing turned sour once she and her children ordered their food and were brusquely reprimanded by the ship’s owner. Stephanie explains that her children were well-behaved after she had ordered their food. “The children sat nicely — the baby sat nicely — until he saw the [fries].” Unfortunately for little Barney, the fries were too hot. “I couldn’t give them to him,” Stephanie says....
You could blame it on women’s natural impulse to nurture, and men’s natural impulse to provide. But I call bullshit on all of that. Chocolate fondue is a perfect dessert for parties or intimate gatherings. Served with fruit, cake, cookies, marshmallows and more, it’s sure to please everyone. There are a host of different varieties, but this mint chocolate version from the restaurant king of fondue, The Melting Pot, is by far my favorite. It’s rich and decadent with just a hint of mint, and it’s incredibly easy to make too. Win. Win. Okay, it was an informal, unscientific study composed of four subjects: my husband, myself, and another couple.
