So, to that end, these are 25 indie beauty brands that you need to know about. Seriously, they’re so awesome, you’ll be saying, “Bye, Sephora,” FOR GOOD. They make next level nail wraps, customizable lip colors (called Kiss of Death, which I love), and “Everything” shadows — which can be used for literally everything. I was lucky enough to meet Espionage’s CEO and Glitter Jedi, Jaimie Cordero, at a comic convention years ago; she is a wonderful person with a wonderful team, who make incredible beauty products....

But, they never tell you the real stuff. The stuff you actually need to know. The stuff that makes you feel inadequate, undeserving, and alone. Well, they may not, but we bloggers will. Lacing their way over our bellies, breasts, and thighs, stretch marks are some women’s proud battle scars. But for others, they’re just plain annoying and creepy to look at. In the end, neither camp is keen on smearing themselves with cocoa butter, the supposed be-all-end-all for preventing and treating stretch marks. Drink Up: Adequate fluid intake is vital to ensuring an appropriate amount of hydration during pregnancy. Take Shade Breaks: Sunbathing during pregnancy can increase the risk of overexposure to heat and dehydration, which can be associated with pre-term contractions. Here are some ideas for how to use what you already have to bring sparkle to your next outdoor occasion. Welcome guests with lights. Emphasize your front walk, front door, driveway. Hammer stakes into the ground a few feet apart and string lights in between each one. Add blossoms with muffin cups. You know those paper cups you bake muffins or cupcakes in? Yes, those. Cut a hole in the center of a cup, then poke a bulb through it....

Let’s get some fresh ideas in there. Better yet, let’s get some lunch ideas you can make the night before so your kids can just grab and go in the morning. But what to make that won’t be soggy by morning? I pestered my more experienced lunch-making friends for some inspiration. Be sure and throw in some fruit or chopped veggies with these! Try chopping large batches of carrot sticks, cucumbers, pineapple, or whatever else your kids like over the weekend....

They found that 25 percent of kids who are diagnosed with anything when visiting the ER are diagnosed with plain old constipation. Talk about feeling like a crappy parent when the doctor gives you that news (sorry).
