Last week Star delivered a scathing review of the Nickelodeon palette, which left his fans entirely shooketh. This time, he pulled out the Box of Crayons palette by The Crayon Case Cosmetics. (Um, major points to Mr. Star for giving a Black-owned brand a chance on your channel!) “She’s massive,” Star said. “Those pans, honey? I’m like, ‘Ooh!’” But of course, a bomb palette requires way more than big pans to earn Jeffree Star approval. “It looks pretty. It’s just not living for when I try to blend it up. It’s a little patchy.” After adding on the extra red eye shadow, Star still determined it was cute. “I’m not hating it at all,” he said. “So this Black is very pigmented,” he said. “It’s not the best black I’ve ever used but it’s definitely something that works.” “This is looking like a little fire now,” he said. Star packed on MORE red eye shadow with his finger and blended with another brush to get the opaque vibrancy back. “This is a very weird look. None of this is cohesive,” he said. “I would never wear these two together but you know what? I don’t give a fuck. I just wanted to try out as many colors as possible for you guys.” Though he felt the red eye shadow could be improved so it isn’t patchy, he considered the rest of the matte shades “bomb” and also adored the metallics despite them needing a little brush spraying. “For $30 you get a massive-sized palette. The pans are big. I think you get a lot for you money.” So is it Jeffree Star-approved? “Yes, GAWD,” he confirmed.
