However, there’s a downside to it — it’s often hard to pull clothes over her head. Especially since her body is small, there has been, on occasion, the shirt that we only put on once after we realize it’s really difficult to get off again. “Sleeve zipper” design means that it effortlessly goes over the baby’s head when unzipped. Snug and warm neckline when zipped. At first, I said, “Hey, cool! All organic fabrics, and no struggling!” but the more I thought about it, the more I considered that it wasn’t much different than the many, many shirts out there with a couple snaps on the shoulder or on the back. Well, or is it? I don’t know about you, but the idea of laying on snaps or buttons has never seemed that comfortable to me, so I certainly prefer the shoulder location. These apparently have a much wider opening than the majority of even button shirts though, judging from the pictures. Zippers are certainly much faster than snaps and they obviously took care to make sure it doesn’t catch baby’s sensitive skin. The modern color-scheme won’t appeal to all, but I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who love the look. These aren’t for sale yet, but I bet for a lot of moms of sensitive kiddos or kids with sensory issues (especially since these bodysuits are way soft too) will be on board.
