The interesting thing is that Gregory originally applied for the job “as a bit of a joke,” but when she started working there she quickly realized how great a job it actually is. She uses a three-criteria checklist to make sure each product meets top standards: Each toy has to be high-quality, quiet (i.e., discreet), and waterproof.
Gregory loves helping people find the right toy for them, she said, but also wants to change stigmas around sex-toy usage — that it’s considered dirty, slutty, or reserved for porn.
“Sex toys still have this taboo,” she told News.com.au. “Some people still associate them with porn, but it’s so much more than that.”
