Cocoa Pancakes Ingredients
3/4 cup flour 3 tbsp baking cocoa 1 tbsp baking powder 2 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup milk 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, sugar, and salt in bowl.
- In separate bowl, whisk egg, vanilla extract, milk, and butter.
- Make a well in the flour mixture, and add the milk mixture gradually. Stir gently to form a batter.
- Heat non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Lightly grease bottom of pan with oil. Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto skillet. Cook pancakes until golden brown and cooked through, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to plates. Repeat with remaining batter. Image via Dana Moos/Flickr
