At least they have this Vibe magazine cover from August 2008 to haunt them. This is the second big breakup involving kids for The Dream — he has a daughter and twin sons with his ex, singer Nivea. Was The Dream too busy dreaming about single life? I think so …. Apparently he was caught acting like a single man while in the Caribbean with his assistant, Melissa Santiago. The very playful photos wouldn’t sit well with me if I just had his baby. The Dream, who in light of this is not so dreamy, claims that he and Christina hit a rocky road late in 2009. Confusing since they tied the knot in September of 2009 and then renewed their vows in December. But I guess they knew (sort of) right away that something was amiss. Maybe all the celebration was in an effort to really give their love a shot? Sigh. It’s over though. Another divorce. I wish you the best, Christina. Stay strong for Violet.
