I spoke with the wonderful Natalie and asked her a few questions about her latest series. What has been the reaction to the “not still nursing” project? The reaction has been amazing. The series has been shared thousands and thousands of times and continues to get more views daily. You don’t typically see portraits of mothers nursing older children, but this is the reality for many mothers and they feel the need to hide that they do it because of how the public views it....

Sex. Once was a time when to have regular sex, you had to get married. Thanks to the 1960s, and the birth control pill, unless you are in a strict religious sect, that is no longer the case. Both men and women are able to freely partake of sexual relations with a variety of people without it much impacting their reputation — though certainly less so for women than men....

So how can you recapture that spark without spending tons of money on sex toys, lingerie, and/or counseling? There’s this board game — Monogamy — created by a married duo with kids who kept this little secret to keeping it hot between the sheets from us for far too long. The creators, Richie and Jane, have two kids and one day realized their sex life was a little too cool for their liking....

Nope. That’s for the birds. But if we could all live in the perfect utopia that is the type of marriage people can’t resist trying to paint a picture of on Facebook? There would be, like, zero divorces in this country. Why would anyone want to leave something so pure, blissful, euphoric, and simply freakin’ awesome?!? Something we don’t think about, uh, ever — unless you’re watching some of those PG-13-rated National Geographic programs that show various creatures humping mating. But it’s always nice when the day of the week you give birth happens to be convenient as well. A little bonus, if you will, to make life easier. Moms who schedule Cesareans know what I’m talking about. Second time moms like to have their surgeries on a Monday or Tuesday so they can ride out the five days without worrying about who will take care of their older child....

But it isn’t really true. Still, we can learn a lot from each other’s past relationships and some of it is just how to be a better human. A woman writing to the Boston Globe advice columnist said that both she and her boyfriend are obsessed with his ex. They both hate her with a passion. And while it’s normal to hate his ex, it isn’t normal to have an obsession....

I honestly and truly have no idea how I stumbled onto this bizarre little corner of YouTube, but there are all kinds of videos depicting various women having a special sort of fun on the Sling Shot Malta ride in St. George’s Bay, Malta. As in … the ride seemed to give them a happy ending. If you know what I mean and I think you do. Don’t believe me?...

I never thought about how I would handle being naked in front of my kids before I had children. All I had to go on were my experiences with my parents, which was that seeing my mom naked was something that happened only accidentally and seeing my father naked was something that never, ever happened.
